Page Baermann is the Founder and President of K9 Intel™. A Certified Canine Behavior Trainer & Consultant who has been a lifelong advocate for the well-being of animals. She has a particular passion for working with dogs and has been involved in animal rescue and shelter dog welfare. Her love of dogs has been a constant in Page’s life.
A native of San Antonio,Texas, where there was (and continues to be) a severe over-population of home-less dogs and cats, she discovered early on that it was her mission to make a positive impact to change the direction of such a tragic course. Through her experiences, she learned that many of the dogs surrendered by their owners to animal shelters/rescues were given up because of unresolved behavior issues. Amazingly, she learned many of these relinquished dogs had undergone some form of "professional" training with their owners, but unfortunately, inappropriate and unsuccessful training methods were applied.
After working with several trainers employing a multitude of different methods and techniques, Page sought out specialized training with 20-year veteran dog trainer John Van Olden, a Military Police dog handler/trainer and founder of the Canine Trade Group. Page has also gained valuable experience working with another renowned dog trainer & wildlife expert, Captain Louis Dedeaux of Los Angeles. Through her specialized training, Page has worked with hundreds of dogs exhibiting the full spectrum of serious behavioral issues from aggression, to fear and anxiety. She decided to exit a successful corporate career and launched K9 Intel with the goal of continuing this work and to help dogs remain in their homes. She continues to work with shelter animals and has earned the respect of some of the most acclaimed and experienced dog trainers in the industry.
