K9 Intel volunteered time and training services to L.A. Animal Services. Through the Department’s
Adoption and New Hope programs combined 26,291 dogs and cats were placed into loving homes in
2008, making it the highest volume pet adoption agency in the world.

The goal was to teach basic obedience skills and leash manners to adoptable dogs in an effort to
improve their chances of success in their new homes.  In addition, free dog training services were
offered to new dog owners who adopted from any of the LA Animal Services Shelters.

This successful effort was coordinated by
Captain Louis Dedeaux, Director of Training for Los
Angeles Animal Services, and a renowned trainer & wildlife expert with over 30-yrs of experience.

your support and help during
our time with you.  Your
commitment and dedication to
dogs will keep many more out of
shelters and in loving homes."
Happy Tails!
We successfully aided in
the adoption of 20 dogs
while training at the shelter.
